The meeting will start at 5pm. Nomination forms will be sent out in the coming days.

Club member Dean McAleer was one of a few that met with UTV as they filmed here in early May.

We have been informed that The Christchurch films will be broadcast on the 5th of June on ‘UTV Live Tonight’ at 22:30 GMT and on Thursday night at 22:30 GMT. There will be an article in the ‘Irish News’ on the 5th of June too.

Unfortunately neither will be available online, but we would still like to give people the oppurtunity to let family & friends at home know of the up and coming coverage.   Marnette Lyons and Peter Caldwell are also appearing on U105 radio on the 5th of June at 11:15am GMT to promote the films.  You can listen online at

Less than 10 tickets left!
There are still some tickets available for our Dinner Dance in Trevinos.  You can transfer your payment ($50 per ticket) to the club account 03-0866-0490485-000 and email Niamh on – no ticket will be secured until payment has been made.  Please put your name in as reference when making payment.

Thank you to all who entered the Christchurch McKenna’s Social League sponsored by the Farrell Group.
We have had a brilliant number of entries this term for the Social League!

We are having a “Meet your team” training session on this Thursday the 4th of October at 6:30pm. We will also be having an Induction training session for any people who need to brush up on their Gaelic football,

$20 must be paid to each team captain and this money must be in by the 18th of October. For those who are on team 1 and team 2, you will be selecting your team captain this Thursday as well as your team name

Due to the extra numbers there are a few changes to the rules for teams:

There will be now 12 people on the field at all times, consisting of 4 ladies and 8 men.
There is no longer a max of 15 per team due to the increase in numbers. However, all late entries must be entered in as individual entries and will be allocated a team by the social league committee.
